Murang’a County elected leaders have ganged up against Nominated Member of Parliament Hon Sabina Chege over claims she is undermining them. According to the joint report issued by Murang’a County Leaders, Sabina Chege hijacked the food distribution program that was spearheaded by Investment, Industry and Trade Cabinet Secretary Hon Moses Kuria on Saturday. These leaders have also accused Sabina Chege of calling herself Mama County knowing very well the current Murang’a Women’s Representative Hon Betty Maina should be called so.

They als alleged that Sabina Chege is purportedly hijacking relief food for the government she never campaigned for. These remarks by a number of MCAs comes a day after the Former Murang’a Women’s Representative accompanied Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria in distributing food to the residents of Murang’a County affected by famine. They accused Sabina Chege of leaping where she never sowed knowing very well she was working for Azimio La Umoja.
