National Assembly Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi has revealed what will happen come next week wednesday.
“We have simply notified you (police) that come next week Wednesday the whole country will come to a stand still as kenyans of all walks of life participate in massive demonstrations in every width and breadth of the country” Opiyo Wandayi said.
This comes after the large-scale demonstration, youth and diverse civil society organisations gathered in the CBD to protest the Finance Act 2023.
Most traders feared losing their assets as a result of police using tear gas and engaging the groups in running skirmishes.
The Azimio leaders spoke at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation where they addressed the media after the conclusion of the Saba Saba protests.
