Daily Nation has exposed How employees of the department of public work were bagging Sh20,000 Per day and Sh600,000 per month in allowances.
Nation Media Group has on the recent past been exposing some of the scandals in the government. The government led by President William Ruto has vowed to root out the corrupt officials.
“Some 21 employees of the department of public work each pocked Sh617,285 per month or Sh20,294 daily,” part of a statement reported by Daily Nation reads.
Assuming that employees worked for 365 days then they would have collected around Sh155 million.
In addition, Azimio and Kenya Kwanza are set to hold talks soon, the talks are aimed at solving the problems that Kenyans are facing like the high cost of living.
