The prices take effect at midnight tonight.
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has reduced fuel prices for the period between Monday, July 15 and Wednesday, August 14.
In a statement, EPRA on Sunday, July 14 announced that the prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene all went down by Ksh1, Ksh1.50 and Ksh1.30, all per litre, respectively.
“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019, Legal Notice No. 196 of 2010 and Legal Notice No. 26 of 2012, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from 15th July 2024 to 14th August 2024,” EPRA stated in part.
The new prices now read as follows: Nairobi motorists will pay Ksh188.84 for Super Petrol, Ksh171.60 for Diesel and Ksh161.75 for Kerosene.
The prices take effect at midnight tonight.
