Divisions have reportedly rocked the ruling Coalition party ahead of President William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua visit to Western region.
On Sunday, National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang’ula met top leaders for a lengthy talk to discuss Dr Ruto’s visit and to drive away fears that a section of leaders were planning to monopolise the event.
“I’m the County boss and I have not heard any leader complain about the President’s tour. They are saying that Western leaders are divided.” Wetangula said.
The county boss noted that the President will land in Bungoma on Sunday where he will attend interdenominational prayers at Bungoma airstrip among other top projects.
This comes as the Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka has also joined Wetangula to
trash the reports of division among Western leaders as reported in one of the dailies ahead of President William Ruto’s tour of the county starting August 27.
