The President Hon William Samoei Ruto was accompanied by a section of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance coalition team to Nyeri County for commissioning of the roads just a day after attending food summit in Tanzania.
During his address, the head of state left the crowd in chants and cheers after he promised to deliver for the people for ten years before he gives the second in command Hon Rigathi Gachagua to succeed him and develop the country.
He alleged that the former President Hon Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta failed to keep the promise and that’s why the people suffered during his second term.
He urged all the leaders to come together so that they can create peace because it is now time to forget their differences and focus on change through seeking the wisdom from the Lord. He made it clear that the clergy will continue fighting for peace.
