BREAKING NEWS: New Gabon President Promises His People Free Elections But Gives No Date

A few days ago, Gabon military officers overthrew their long-term president, Ali Bongo, and took over their country. They later arrested the Bongo family and held them in captivity to punish them for ruling them irresponsibly. The Bongo family is said to have ruled this country for more than 50 years through rigging all general elections.

A few hours ago, the Gabon army sworn in their new leader who was the mastermind behind the coup. General Bryce Nguema was sworn in as the new interim president who will rule Gabon as they await to carry on another general election. According to the report, General Bryce Nguema promised citizens free and fair presidential elections however he did not give them a particular date for this important exercise.
