Popular Azimio Youth leaders Nuru Okanga and Calvince Okoth, also known as Gaucho, have once again found themselves entangled in a dispute, with Okanga alleging that his life has been threatened. In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Okanga claimed that Gaucho single-handedly undermined his political progress by refusing to align himself with a specific political faction and steadfastly standing by it. Furthermore, Okanga accused Gaucho of being responsible for the challenges he now faces due to his disassociation from the Azimio coalition, a move that could potentially have grave consequences in the world of politics.
What particularly irked Okanga was a phone call from Gaucho, in which the latter allegedly issued a menacing threat to his life. Gaucho purportedly warned Okanga to be cautious while navigating the streets of Nairobi, cautioning him that his associates could potentially carry out a stabbing attack at any given moment. Okanga rubbished the threats stating that he would not be intimidated whatsoever and any attempt on his life by Gaucho as he claims, will be avenged, and that’s when Gaucho will also realize that he has men by his side.
Additionally, Okanga went on to claim that Gaucho might have been swayed by a rival political party and urged him to openly disclose his new allegiances instead of resorting to threats in an attempt to neutralize him. Okanga staunchly asserted that he would not tolerate such tactics, the deviate from Azimio-One Kenya coalition manifesto, emphasizing that his primary objective is to give voice to the significant concerns of Kenyans and not fighting one another which will just create a very bad image for the opposition.
