Azimio La Umoja Coalition allied Member of Parliament,who weeks back sided with Kenya Kwanza MPs to pass the Finance Bill in Parliament has made a u turn as she reveals mistake that President Ruto’s government did.
In a interview with Citizens TV Kenya,Hon Beatrice Elachi has quoted that President Ruto’s government went wrong when it called the 50 appointments as CASs. The MP has noted that,the government could have made the appointments yes,but not call them CAS.
According to her, Ruto’s government could have have appointed them to different positions as advisors,because after all the CAS positions have been there for years.
However,its good also to note that, since the Court has made its decision. Its good that the allocated money for their salaries should be used in a different sector. Since our economy is in a bad shape,its good also for the government to reduce its expenditures by not adding more State officials.
But also,if they would have succeeded to hold the said office,the their manpower would be appreciated.
