Outspoken former member of Parliament Alfred Keter whom has been in his political history locked horns with president William Ruto for a while has today refreshed his attacks on the President’s administration doorstep.
Thr former Nandi hills lawmaker touching in the already passed into law finance bill, indicated that whomever has been advising the president got it all wrong.
Mentioning the President’s cheif economic advisor, David Ndii, Keter asserted that Ndii knows exactly what over taxation can do to an economy and certainly not growing it.
” I find it very disturbing to see a regime voted in on the basis of restoration of the economy, employing very awkward and irresponsible policies in the name of political expediency. @DavidNdii you know too well that over Taxation can never lead us into prosperity. #Tax .” Keter asserted.
His post was accompanied by a short video indicating with explanations why African economies have been undergoing through such distress and the measures that need to be undertaken.Keter whom ahead of the 2022 general elections lost his UDA ticket after his win in the nomination was appealed and later on he lost the Nandi Hills seat to UDA candidate Bernard Kibor Kitur.
Keter contested on an Independent ticket in the August 9 polls garnered 18037 while his main opponent Kitur got 23503 votes. The battle was seen as between him and the president.
