Jesus Compassionate Ministry(JCM) founder and Kameme FM presenter Muthee Kiengei has faced public criticism on social media for using a luxury car – a limousine- to pick up his newborn daughter and wife from the hospital.
The preacher shared videos and photos of a convoy of luxury cars during the grand welcoming ceremony of his daughter on his Facebook page spurring backlash from netizens.
In his response, Kiengei countered the critics saying he was not showing off and that people should love their children within their financial limits.
‘Sio show off, kila mtu apende mtoto wake na kwa uwezo wako binafsi vile utaweza. Fanya kitu mke wako afurahi,” he wrote.
Loosely translated as; “(It’s not like I’m showing off. Everyone should love their children within their limits. At least do something to make your wife happy.)”

The father of three revealed that his newborn daughter June Waithira Benson was born on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
“My Mother meant all to me……she is back like she never left this world,” Kiengei wrote to seemingly imply that the newborn is named after his mother who has since passed on.
This is his second child with his wife Joyceline Ngaru.
Kiengei has another daughter from his previous marriage.
