Renown City Lawyer Ahmednasir Mohamed has spelled doom for former President Uhuru Kenyatta after the government through Public Service Commission appointed Charity Seleina Kisotu as a member of the Judicial Service Commission.

Through his tweet, Ahmednasir claimed that Ruto’s radical configuration of the composition of the JSC will not please the former President, who has been embroiled in a tough tussle with Ruto’s government in the recent past.

He went ahead to claim that the reconstitution will also not please a person he did not name in his tweet.

Ms. Charity Seleina Kisotu was appointed Vice Chairperson of the Public Service Commission on 10th January 2019 before her recent appointment to JSC. She was initially the chairperson of the Finance, Planning, ICT and General Purpose Committee of the Commission.

Prior to her appointment, she was a member of the Board of the Central Bank of Kenya since 2016. She also served at various times as Chairperson of the Insurance Tribunal; Chairperson of the National Social Security Fund Board of Trustees; Chairperson of Kenya Wines Agencies Limited (KWAL); member of Nairobi City County Public Service Board and Chief Accountant at the National Water Corporation.

Uhuru, Ruto wars have escalated after allies of the president accused Uhuru of allegedly facilitating Azimio la Umoja demonstrations. Ruto’s camp warned Uhuru to keep off, warning of dire consequences. The situation escalated recently when undercover DCI officers reportedly stormed the home of Uhuru’s elder son in Karen.

Furious Uhuru came out to lash at the government, daring it to go for him and leave aside his family. He said he was ready to fight for his family to the core. And on Saturday, the government ordered that all licensed firearms in the hands of Uhuru’s family should be returned back to the issuer.
