ATA Logistics Assistant

Incumbent manages and coordinates all logistics demands of Office of Antiterrorism Assistance (ATA) training.

This includes coordinating with ATA Logistics branch in Washington DC for the shipping of high value and sensitive equipment, acquiring exemptions, overseeing local receipt and delivery; working with local vendors and GSO Procurement for the outsourcing of local services to include small construction projects, purchasing of raw materials and specialized equipment for the training and operational support of various police units; overseeing quality of work, performing function inspections, manages a fleet of vehicles to include servicing, fuel consolidation, and performance modifications; maintains accountability of approximately 150 American instructors from arrival to departure, to include the coordination of ground transportation and lodging; liaising with National Police Service organizations and academies to facilitate student matriculation and graduation.

General Services Assistant

Incumbent serves as executive assistant, quality coordinator and analyst, and communications expert within the General Services Office. Under the direction of the S/GSO, maintains all policies for the section and advises the leadership team on required updates. Analyzes available performance data on ICASS service delivery and advises on trends and potential improvements. Supports the GSO team’s communication through maintenance of its Sharepoint site and other communication tools. Serves as sub-cashier for GSO section and timekeeper for one-third of GSO.

Director Prevention Programs (USAMRD-A) PEPFAR Program

The job holder serves as the Director, Prevention Programs, overseeing and supervising HIV Prevention Services for the US Army Medical Research Directorate-Africa (USAMRD-A) PEPFAR program. The job holder is a Senior Public Health Specialist responsible for planning, formulating, analyzing, evaluating, and/or implementing policies for USAMRD-A’s public health programs for key and vulnerable populations, including all aspects of HIV prevention, including Adolescents Girls and Young Women (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS- Free, Mentored and Safe – DREAMS and Adolescent and Young People), Orphans and Vulnerable Children (including prevention and social protection to reduce vulnerability), high-risk clients (requiring Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis – PrEP), HIV prevention for military programs, Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision – VMMC, HIV case-finding, and other prevention interventions under PEPFAR. The job holder liaises with the USAMRD-A treatment lead to ensure prevention efforts are present across the continuum of HIV care and treatment programs. The job holder provides technical assistance and guidance to the Kenya Ministry of Health, County governments and other national and international partners and collaborators. The job holder leads and manages a team of four contractors who provide technical direction and guidance to the Kenya PEPFAR program. The job holder is a Locally Employed Staff (LES) appointed to perform inherently governmental duties. Incumbent reports directly to the USAMRD-A PEPFAR Deputy Country Director.

Custodial Team Leader

JOB OVERVIEW

Supervises and coordinates work and performance for a workforce of  8-10 Custodians at the New Embassy Compound (NEC) and Offsite Facilities. The incumbent reports to the Custodial Supervisor (FSN 7 – C52503)

Coordinates and performs custodial duties in assigned zones that include cleaning and vacuuming of offices and hallways, dusting office desks and work surfaces, cleaning of windows, kitchens, waiting areas, CAC’s, guard force shacks, showers, and toilets in the entire Mission 400,000sqft of floor space.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Duties and responsibilities include coordinating on health & safety and cleaning service delivery on a day-to-day basis. The custodial team leader will conduct inspections of the premises and provide feedback to Custodial Supervisor on standards and monitoring targets. Liaise with custodians regarding material supplies and general concerns. Maintain contact and coordinate with customers on site.
