Winnie Harlow and Ashley Graham kicked things off in style as they modelled Matty Bovan’s upcoming collection for London Fashion Week on Saturday.

The catwalk queen, 29, cut a striking appearance as she stepped out sporting a dramatic make-up look that saw her eyes outlined in a bold blue.

The colourings made sure to complement the fashion star’s vibrant catwalk getup as she was seen strutting her stuff in a patterned dress that boasted dramatic textures and layers.

Winnie paired it with matching-coloured tights and pink lace up heels.

The eccentric display showcased some of the designs for Matty Bovan’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection as guests joined Tanqueray No. TEN to experience the new collection in a secret Front Row coupled with the launch of a short film.

The Central Saint Martins knitwear graduate has previously worked with fashion houses Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu.

Winnie, who first shot to fame on the 21st season of America’s Next Top Model, looked sensational in Bovan’s upcoming collection and oozed confidence while modelling the very distinctive look.

She had been diagnosed with vitiligo around the age of four and has gone on to become a spokesperson for the condition, frequently speaking out about the topic.

Despite her insecurities as a child, the starlet hasn’t let the condition hold her back and is highly considered as one of the most in-demand models of the moment.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, she recalled: ‘Kids called me a cow and mooed at me. I remember sitting by my window wishing upon the stars that my skin condition would go away.

‘Everyone asks me what the turning point was but it was just me making the effort to focus on my opinion on myself. I was like, wait I don’t actually think I’m ugly – I think I’m beautiful. So where did I get this idea I wasn’t? From someone else.’

The beauty was joined on the catwalk by fellow model Ashley, 35, who too worked the distinguishing look.

Ashley wore a floral print dress with a belt that cinched her in at the waist and a striking multi-coloured piece wrapped around her.

She finished with printed blue printed tights and leopard print heels.

The body positive model has always been candid about her own struggles with body image, once admitting that she was broken up with and called names because of her weight.

Recognising that body image issues will always be a topic she’ll be asked to speak on, Ashley told Today Parents:  ‘There’s not a day that goes by where I am not going to have that [body image] discussion with someone else or myself.’

She added, ‘And also, just being a woman and being in the fashion industry — being an ‘influencer’ and being on social media — it’s constant.’

The former America’s Next Top Model judge shares three children with her husband, videographer Justin Ervin.

The couple have been married for thirteen years, after they met at church in 2009.

After the birth of her first son Isaac in January 2020, the accomplished model and television personality gave birth to twins Malachi and Roman a year later.
