The Trump campaign has heavily criticized the Colorado Supreme Court after it disqualified former President Donald Trump from running in the 2024 presidential election.
Campaign spokesman Steven Cheung claimed that a group funded by Democratic billionaire donor George Soros was behind the decision to ban Trump.
In a statement, Cheung said: “It is not surprising that the all-Democrat-appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump.
“Supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group's plan to interfere in elections on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump's name from the ballot and endangering the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice eliminate votes.
“Democratic Party leaders are in a state of paranoia about the growing, dominant lead that President Trump has amassed in the polls.
“They have lost confidence in Biden's failed presidency and are now doing everything they can to prevent American voters from removing them from office next November.”

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled on Jan. 6 that the former president had violated the 14th Amendment's insurrection clause for his role.
Trump spoke with supporters in Waterloo, Iowa, for more than an hour this evening, but did not address the court's ruling.
In a 4-3 decision, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that the ex-president and 2024 Hopeful are ineligible to run for president.
Cheung continued, “The Colorado Supreme Court made a completely flawed decision tonight and we will quickly appeal to the United States Supreme Court and file a concurrent motion to stay this deeply undemocratic decision.”
The 14th Amendment was passed after the Civil War and prohibits public officials from seeking future office if they were “involved in an insurrection.”
“A majority of the Court finds that Trump is disqualified from holding the office of President under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” the court wrote.
The decision may not be upheld, with Cheung confirming on Tuesday evening that the ex-president would appeal it to the Supreme Court.
Tuesday's ruling is stayed pending an appeal until January 4.
“We are confident that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these un-American lawsuits,” Cheung said.
There are currently four Democratic Judges serving on the Colorado Supreme Court, out of seven total judges.

Four judges appointed by Democratic governors, Justices Richard L. Gabriel, Melissa Hart, William W. Hood III and Monica Márquez, voted in favor disqualify the former president.
Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright disagreed, arguing that the constitutional issues were too complex to be resolved at a state hearing. Judges Maria E. Berkenkotter and Carlos Samour also dissented.
The lawsuit was filed by the Washington, D.C. organization Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, on behalf of six Colorado voters, some Republican and some unaffiliated with a political party.
The lawsuit pointed to Trump's role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol as well as his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

“Our Constitution clearly states that those who violate their oath of office by attacking our democracy are barred from serving in government.”
Soros, 93, has long supported liberal politics and was an outspoken opponent of President George W. Bush.
The Hungarian-born businessman, who survived the Holocaust, donated millions to hinder his re-election.
He later also donated heavily to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton.
In recent times, the billionaire has repeatedly supported district attorneys who have abolished bail laws and opted not to prosecute crimes such as theft.
As a direct result, crime has skyrocketed in major cities under Soros's District Attorney's watch, with St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner forced to resign as she faced a bill that would strip her of most of her power deprive.
