Chris Pratt is tall, handsome and a hero of the Marvelverse, but the 44-year-old actor admits that his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, occasionally dreams of another man.
The actor, who penned a loving Mother’s Day tribute to his wife of almost five years, described how he discovered the ‘other man’ in an interview with Entertainment tonight while promoting The Garfield Movie.
Pratt admitted that his wife, 34, has a “hall pass” – a slang term that refers to an agreement between a couple that they can have sex outside their relationship, usually on a temporary or one-off basis.
So who, besides Pratt, is Schwarzenegger’s type?

It’s Usher.
Pratt hinted at it when he posted a video of Schwarzenegger dancing to Usher during his Super Bowl halftime performance in February, writing, “When Usher sang ‘Don’t Leave Your Girl Around Me,’ he was talking to me?’
“She knows every word” (to Usher’s music), the Terminal List star explained.
“I didn’t even know that until we went on a little road trip and she started putting on Usher.”
He added, “And man, she knows every word, so I think Usher is her hall pass. I can’t blame her.’

By working on the animated film Garfield and The Super Mario Bros. 2023 movie, Pratt was able to stay closer to home and keep an eye on things.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star shares daughters Lyla, three, and Eloise, two, with Schwarzenegger, and son Jack, 11, with ex-wife Anna Faris, 47.
“Working as an actor is often a blessing, but one of the downsides is that it can take you out of the country or state for extended periods of time,” he said.
“So it was really nice to be able to do voice work because you come home at night and you can sleep in.” [your] own bed.’
The loving father is excited. The Garfield movie is something all three of his children can watch.
“They’re ready to see it,” he said.
“This is the kind of movie they can definitely watch. You know, some animated movies get a little scary, it’s a little too much for the kids. This is really something fun for all ages.’
To prepare for the role, Pratt joked that he “ate a lot of lasagna,” and to find Garfield’s voice, “he tried a few different things and I realized he sounds a lot like Andy from Parks and Rec.”
Pratt shared a video of his wife rocking out at Usher’s Super Bowl Half-Time performance in February. “When Usher sang ‘Don’t leave your girl with me’, he was talking to me?” the actor asked
Pratt revealed that it was director Mark Dindal who first saw the connection between the animated cat and the beloved Parks and Rec character.
“He said, ‘I think I know exactly what this guy sounds like.’ That character you play on Parks and Rec,” Pratt explained. ‘I thought, “Great, that’s good. I think that’s perfect.” Andy and Garfield are very similar.”
Adding their voices to the film are Ted Lasso alumni Samuel L Jackson, Ving Rhames, Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein, along with SNL’s Bowen Wang and Cecily Strong, Abbot Elementary’s Janelle James and Snoop Dogg, who plays a furry critter named Snoop Catt.
The Garfield Movie will be in theaters on May 24.
