Holly Hagan has revealed she was forced to rush one-month-old son Alpha-Jax to doctors after discovering a worrying rash on his neck and face.

The Geordie Shore star, 31, recalled the scary incident in a candid Instagram Stories post on Friday before giving fans an update the tot’s health.

Holly cuddled her sleepy son, who she shares with husband Jacob Blyth, in bed saying: ‘I woke up this morning, well an hour ago, and came in and he had phoned the doctors this morning and they got him in straight away’.

‘So we took him down and told them everything and they looked at his rash, because he’s got a little rash on his face and around his neck,’

She continued: ‘But apparently they’ve said it’s nothing to worry about and they prescribed some infant Gaviscon’.

According to the NHS the medication is prescribed to newborns to help to prevent gastric regurgitation where competence of the cardiac sphincter has not been fully established, leading to a rash and discomfort. 

Holly later went on to say that some fans had warned her the reflux suppressant medication may infact cause the little one more problems and lead to constipation.
