The renown Sultana actress Winnie Bwire,popularly known by her character name Ndinda is one cancer warrior who has seen both the ups and the downs of life. This is after she discovered that she was suffering a rare breast cancer condition.
Sharing her emotional life story with content creator Lynn Ngugi on her YouTube channel Lynn Ngugi Network, Ndinda said that the illness was discovered when she was just rising to fame during the Sultana show. After discovering the killer disease, Winnie recounts asking God all sorts of question and if out of all the people He chose her to suffer breast cancer and telling Him that He must have been the most sandistic God in the whole world.
She said that she would mourn herself and would mostly do it during the set. This was during the emotional scenes and while the world thought that she was acting,it was her way of pouring out her anger. However,this journey brought her closer to God and she’s grateful for that. She said that she realised God was still in control because even after being diagnosed with stage four cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions,not even one tissue of her body was affected.
