‘The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On’ Cast Guide: Follow the Season 2 Couples on Instagram

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On just might be the most stressful reality show on Netflix. Not only do you run the risk of alienating your long-term partner, you also have to live with a total stranger in a pretend marriage and integrate them into your life for three weeks! The thought of your loved one sharing a bed with someone else is a wild enough experience without rolling over and seeing your new “spouse” sleeping next to you. But somehow another round of struggling couples has signed up for this social experiment — and they’re ready to give it their all in the name of love.

Five new couples will break up, mix it up, pair up, and then live it up in trial marriages designed to push their limits and hopefully expand their horizons. Will they fall for their new partner? Or will they remain loyal to the one they brought to this experience? Most importantly, will any of these people get married?!

• Antonio & Roxanne

  Antonio (30) issued the ultimatum to Roxanne (31), his girlfriend of four years. She’s hesitating because she’s so career-focused and Antonio is… not. Roxanne, the founder of a company that makes a braless alternative to nipple hiding, works day and night while Antonio is apparently just around. There’s also the fact that Roxanne doesn’t believe in marriage, so, sounds like this show has its work cut out for it.

• Lisa & Brian

  Lisa (31) issued the ultimatum to Brian (28) after two years together. Brian’s not ready because he wants to be financially secure before they tie the knot, but Lisa needs him to know that her biological clock is ticking. And why is he worried about money? She is a “six figure chick.”

• James & Ryann

  Ryann (24) issued an ultimatum to her high school sweetheart James (23) after being together for seven years. They’ve been together through high school and college, so what’s holding them back from marriage? James says he has childhood trauma that he’s not ready to talk to Ryann about — and he also doesn’t believe in true love.

• Trey & Riah

  Trey (28) gave an ultimatum to his girlfriend of two years, Riah (24). They already live together, but their differing ideas on marriage and romance are holding them apart. Trey’s seen commitment (his parents have been married for 30 years) while Riah’s only ever witnessed situation-ships. Plus he wants kids and she doesn’t, which is kind of a hard difference to reconcile.

• Kat & Alex

  Kat (27) issued an ultimatum to Alex (31) after dating for two years. They’re an adventurous couple and have grown into being best friends as well as romantic partners — but he’s just been so busy! Alex is logical, practical, and hard to convince of anything. Kat, on the other hand, knows in her heart that she’ll love Alex forever, even when he’s “bald with a beer belly.”
