Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens ‘agrees a two-year deal with the Chicago Bears’… as high-profile couple pack up and leave Green Bay after just one season

Jonathan Owens – and his Olympic superstar wife Simone Biles – are leaving Green Bay after just one season, with the safety agreeing to a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears.

According to multiple reports, Owens will sign a two-year, $4.5 million deal with the Bears, which will see the high-profile pair leave Green Bay.

The former Texans and Cardinals player, 28, was headed for free agency but has now found a landing spot.

Owens and Biles met on the celebrity dating app Raya in 2020, when she was already a four-time Olympic gold medalist and considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.

The couple met online during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, while Owens was on the Texans and Biles was getting her chance to continue Olympic dominance for a year.

Biles and Owens got engaged in 2022 and married last April.

Owens came under fire late last year for admitting he didn’t know who Biles was before the pair met.

The backlash for Owens was so intense that Biles had to intervene, posting to her Instagram Story “STOP BRINGING ME UP,” followed by 14 laughing emojis and closing with “work on that for the new year.”

The comments did not directly mention Owens, but they were seen as Biles’ official response to the controversy.

Owens eventually discovered how dominant his current wife was on the vault and balance beam.

A source told DailyMail.com last June that Biles’ return to gymnastics was a big one, thanks to Owens convincing her to do so.
