Madhe wa Ngara is a Kenyan woman currently on the run after police officer’s pounced on one of her accomplices. Madhe, not her real name was involved in the sale of bhang in the slums and good worth over 13 million was recovered including hard cash. A lot is now being revealed about the woman. Her real name Nancy, she is said to be so powerful to the extent that she can even influence the transfer of police officer’s within some area’s. These areas are Parklands, Central, Ngara and Kamukunji police station’s. She can also reportedly influence the transfer of friendly and cooperative officer’s to the desired station’s. But why?
Well, sale of bhang is a forbidden trade in the country and those caught involved in it are prone to face the law. Madhe knows that for her to manage her trade, then she has to get police protection in the areas where she plies her trade. That is why she invests to have officer’s who will be friendly to her as she does her business without being smoked out.
The woman operates within Karuia slums in Ngara and this place offers her conducive operation environment since she offer’s an incentive to unemployed youth who provide security and act as informants in case of any police presence.
