When asked if he tried to reclaim the channel, he said he wrote to YouTube but nothing came of it.

He also disclosed that prior to losing his channel, YouTube had removed some of his music for breaking the platform’s rules.

Embarambamba on ‘dirty’ lyrics

Eve probed the controversial man about his dirty lyrical music and why he specifically makes his music like that.

The artiste revealed that if he does clean lyrics, people do not listen to that. He said they do not recognize that.

“Moja nilitoa inaanza; imesimama nikasikia joto joto, nilikua namaanisha injili imesima, lakini watu wakafikiria ni tabia mbaya” he explained. (One that I released said; It’s standing I felt heat heat, I meant the gospel is standing)

The gospel artiste revealed that he understands his audience, and whatever he does is for them because they also understand him and what makes him thrive in the music industry.

He said he has over 60 million people listening to his craft because of his style of writing.

He explained that the muddy sets and whatever he wears when shooting the music videos are very intentional and he loves what he does.

Embarambamba club incident

In 2021, a video of Embarambamba dancing with a lady suggestively went viral and created abuzz online with moral police questioning the gospel artiste’s moral standards.

Ezekiel Mutua, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), were one of the people who came out to condemn the artiste for gross misconduct and warned the musician that he is courting trouble with the law.

Asked by Eve about the viral incident that went down at a club in Thika Road, the artiste revealed that he was just attending to perform as usual.

He noted that the people in the club support him, and he has no restrictions as to where is supposed to perform.

He also explained that he can work anywhere as the gospel should be spread everywhere.

“Injili iende kwa milima, milima ni clubs,” he justified
