Well this is a quote that renowned Kenyan singer Maureen Kunga, of the group Elani, knows a lot about, if her recent achievements are anything to go by.

The voluptuous ‘Jana Usiku’ hit maker has infact been on a weight loss journey for sometime now, and every work that she has been putting in is undoubtedly paying off wholesomely.
Gushing over her achievements so far Maureen Kunga earlier today took to her Instagram account, and flaunted her enviable body transformation achieved over a period of six months.
The voluptuous singer further disclosed that what has enabled her to lose weight is the gastric balloon procedure, done at the Nairobi Bariatric Centre.
According to Maureen Kunga she began the procedure in January this year, and she even shared a short video clip showing the loss of weight.
What was clear is that in January she was chubbier that now.

She further disclosed that the weight loss has been achieved due to some exercising and check of diet too.

When the lovely people from @nairobibariatric told me one of the biggest changes I would see would be in my face, I didn’t know it was going to be like THAT!!! Haha I always thought my face was rather slender (for my size) haha guess I was wrong 😂😂.
Time and consistency, keeping my food intake in check with the Gastric Balloon, exercise, lots of water and a little self care have got me looking like a WHOLE different person, and I love it! Almost 6 months down and the journey continues!

Maureen Kunga’s disclosure therefore means that she has joined a list of Kenyan celebrities, who are currently using the Gastric Balloon procedure to lose weight.
Other celebrities who are also using the weight loss strategy include media personality Willis Raburu, Kate Actress and also actress Jackie Matubia.
