The mum-of-two has spoken about the challenges she has faced in her demanding role that has kept her away from her loved ones during its ongoing three-month run.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Lily admitted she was battling loneliness as a result, exacerbated by her children’s attendance at a summer camp in the United States.

The songstress recently appeared on This Morning alongside her co-star Steve Pemberton to discuss the production.

She said: ‘There’s a bit of violence in it. She’s an artist and writer and that’s something I relate to. She definitely pushes boundaries. There was a lot for me to tap into.’
