Jesse Baird, Luke Davies: NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon attended a Jessica Mauboy concert in uniform at Westfield Bondi Junction a week before alleged double-murder

Accused killer Beau Lamarre-Condon confused Westfield security by showing up to a Jessica Mauboy concert and claiming he was her police guard, sources say.

The former senior constable, 28, allegedly used his police-issue Glock pistol to shoot Channel Ten presenter Jesse Baird, 26, and his friend Luke Davies, 29, at a rental property in Paddington on February 19 at about 9.50am o’clock.

He then allegedly stuffed their bodies into surfboard bags and dumped them at a remote property in Bungonia, about 180km south of Sydney, before turning himself in to police on February 23.

It can now be revealed that Lamarre-Condon – a well-known celebrity hunter who has taken selfies with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift – attended Mauboy’s concert at Westfield Bondi Junction on February 12 at 4pm.

Sources told Daily Mail Australia that mall security was confused when he showed up, saying he was her police guard.

NSW Police could not confirm whether Lamarre-Condon was on duty at Bondi Junction that day, but a police spokesperson said celebrities are normally guarded by private security.

They said officers normally go to concerts for crowd control, not to be security guards.

A week later he allegedly murdered Mr Baird and Mr Davies.

Although it was initially reported that Mr Baird was Lamarre-Condon’s ‘ex-boyfriend’, friends of the Studio 10 host later clarified that they had never been in a relationship.

Before joining the NSW Police in 2019, Lamarre-Condon would go out several times a week to chase celebrities in Sydney, hoping to ambush them.

He became a famous blogger who interviewed Hollywood heavyweights on the Golden Globes red carpet and posted selfies with the likes of Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Russel Crowe and Miranda Kerr on his blog ThatsTheTea.com.

In 2014, he met Lady Gaga at a concert and came out as gay through a note he threw her on stage, which she read, revealing his sexuality to an audience of 15,000 people.

The note read, “Gaga, you are not only my idol but LITERALLY my (savior),” and it was his way of thanking the singer for giving him the courage to tell his parents he was gay .

He was taken backstage to meet her after the show and later said in a radio interview, “She came out for me.”

A close friend of his said that meeting Lady Gaga “was his highest high and it was like a drug for him that he kept chasing.”

Police initially described Baird and Lamarre-Condon’s relationship as an “on-off” romance, but friends said it was only a “friends with benefits” arrangement.

The arrangement ended when Mr Baird said he did not want to continue a relationship.

Lamarre-Condon is said to have stuffed their bodies into surfboard bags, covered them with a blue tarpaulin and left them in the courtyard of Mr Baird’s rental home in Paddington.

According to police documents, a female roommate approached one of the two surfboard bags and poked it around 5:40 p.m.

She told police that the contents “felt lumpy, not like there was a surfboard in there” and that she also noticed red-colored paving stones under the bags.

The woman assumed the tiles were stained by beetroot juice spilled by Mr Baird, who was known to his fellow tenants as ‘messy’.

The housemates took photos of the bags and a blood-stained outdoor lounge, police allege.

About 12 hours later, Lamarre-Condon reportedly collected the bodies into a white rental van and took them to a remote farm in Bungonia, about 180 kilometers south of Sydney.

It is alleged that the lead officer then returned to the location to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia, approximately a 20-minute drive from the original location.

An extensive search was conducted for the couple, but Lamarre-Condon initially did not want to tell police where their bodies were located.

He then spoke with an attorney on February 27, over a week after the alleged murders.

The remains of Mr Baird and Mr Davies were found that afternoon in surf bags and buried in a shallow grave.

Lamarre-Condon is currently at Silverwater Correctional Complex, in Sydney’s west.

His case is in court.
