Jennifer Lopez opened up about the dresses she wore to her August 2022 wedding to Ben Affleck during a new interview with Fashion that was released on Friday.
The 54-year-old hitmaker wore a trio of dresses designed by Ralph Lauren for her special day, which took place just outside Savannah, Georgia.
The singer – who recently took her children on a birthday trip to Tokyo – explained that while she had an idea in mind for her main outfit, she also wanted it to draw inspiration from her ceremony’s surroundings.
Lopez said, “I wanted it to be traditional Latin, but also a little Southern Belle-y at times. There is a mix of that, and this dress certainly succeeded.’
The artist went on to say that while she was happy with her dress for the ceremony, it wasn’t the most comfortable.

The Jenny From The Block singer recalled: “There was a long train that was so hard to walk on, it was so heavy.”
Lopez then spoke about her gratitude for Lauren’s efforts during her wedding ceremony planning process.
“He made me three dresses for my wedding, so I had one for the ceremony, one for the reception and one for a song I was going to sing at the reception,” she recalls.
She added that her outfits were “all very classic, but all very different and beautiful.”
Lopez opted for a few more looks for her first wedding ceremony, which took place in Las Vegas in July 2022.
According to Page sixthe artist donned a lace dress from Zuhair Murad’s bridal collection for her trip to the Little White Wedding Chapel, and she also wore an Alexander McQueen dress the same day.
She also shared a video highlighting her second look, stating that she had it in her closet “because that’s how it was with me, photo shoots and Marry Me performances everywhere.”
Lopez and Affleck, 51, first met in the late 1990s and started dating in 2002 after working together on the set of Gigli, which premiered in 2003.
The singer stated that while she had an idea in mind for her main outfit, she also wanted it to draw inspiration from the environment of her ceremony.

Affleck also married Jennifer Garner, and the couple welcomed three children before their marriage ended in 2018.
The singer and the actor remained on friendly terms following their breakup, and they reconciled in April 2021.
