Jane admits to driving herself at 1:00 am while feeling unwell and leaving Solomon asleep. In the last episode of Jane and Solomon on Citizen television, Karis, one of the killers, revealed that Jane Muthoni masterminded the death of Solomon.
The first attempt to take Solomon’s life was on Friday when they hid in the back seat of Jane’s Toyota car inside the school compound of Kiiru boys.

After Jane instructed them to stay in the car until they were signaled to finish the mission, she returned to the car after a few minutes and said that the drug she was given might be fake since it was not working.
She tried again but decided to give up on the mission when it did not seem to work on Solomon. After reporting this to Karis and Isaac, they asked her to drive them out of the school compound so they could find their way home since the mission had failed. 
Jane drove them out of the school compound at around 1:00 am and dropped them at Kiria ini where they found their way to Ruiru. She says that she felt unwell and wanted milk and painkillers, but there was none in the school, and Solomon advised her to get it outside the school.
Many people watching the documentary wondered why Solomon allowed a sick Jane Muthoni to drive herself at the middle of the night in an area she was not familiar with to seek medication.
