Charlie’s Angels is a crime drama television series that aired on ABC from September 22, 1976, to June 24, 1981.

It was a massive hit series with five seasons and 115 episodes.

And it still airs often in reruns.

The series follows the crime-fighting adventures of three women working at a private detective agency owned by Charlie, voiced by John Forsythe – who is never seen – in Los Angeles.

The first trip was Jackson, Fawcett and Smith.

After Fawcett left, Ladd was cast.

After Jackson departed, Shelley Hack was hired, then she was replaced by Tanya Roberts.

Charlie’s Angels spawned a media franchise with a film series started in 2000, which is a continuation of the series story with later generations of Angels. A television revival of the series was broadcast in 2011, but was canceled after seven episodes.
