Ireland 17-13: Andy Farrell’s side hold their nerve to claim hard-fought win and retain Six Nations title… with tries in each half by Dan Sheehan and Andrew Porter ending England’s faint title hopes

Ireland held their nerve in the thrilling final in Dublin to retain their Six Nations title.

Andy Farrell’s side led 7-6 at half-time after a converted Dan Sheehan try and a Jack Crowley penalty.

Furlong was denied a TMO try and Henshaw was held over the line as Ireland piled on the pressure.

Scotland’s Ewan Ashman was sent to the sin bin just after the hour and Andrew Porter took advantage by crashing for Ireland’s second try.
