Naomi Watts made waves when she supported film icon Nicole Kidman as she received an AFI Life Achievement Award at the Dolby Theater on Saturday in Los Angeles.
The 55-year-old British actress – who recently showed off her impressive physique while working out with her personal trainer – left jaws dropping in a blue figure-hugging dress that hugged her body.
Her signature short blonde locks were parted to the side and slightly curled at the ends as they shimmered in the light.
She accessorized with long earrings and rings as she carried a simple white bag down the red carpet.
Other celebrities attending the event include Keith Urban, Naomi Watts, Joey King and Morgan Freeman.

Watts and Kidman previously worked together on the 1991 film Flirting and have been long-time best friends ever since.
Hoping to star again with her good friend, the Feud star said PEOPLE‘We’ve talked about it for too long, we have to make it happen,
“Now that we’re getting to the age where it’s like this, we just want to spend more time together. Let’s just get on set so we can have good, long conversations and share meals every day,” she added.
Although nothing is definitively set in stone, A-listers remain optimistic. “We will certainly continue to look for the right piece of material,” concludes Watts.
Now the Australian actress is being honored for her more than forty-year Hollywood career.
The Aquaman star will be the first Australian to receive the American Film Institute’s Life Achievement Award.
Nicole told me this week Stellar she is so grateful to be “honored in this way.”
‘Receiving this award fills me with overwhelming gratitude. To be the first Australian to be honored in this way leaves me speechless,” she said.

The Institute’s award, presented by the AFI Board of Trustees, is one of the highest honors in film, along with an Oscar.
Nicole will be the 49th recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award, first presented in 1973.
