Wild footage captured the moment a driver collided with another person who tried to reserve a parking space for his friend by standing in the empty spot.
The heated argument between the two took place at 10.20am on April 7 in a Melbourne alley.
Daschcam footage showed the driver driving into the empty space before being confronted by the man who was in his way.
“I’m going to park here,” the male driver told the man.

The man, who was wearing a black rain jacket and matching shorts, replied bluntly: “Someone is coming.”
‘Where’s the car?’ the driver asked.
The man informed the driver that his friend was “arriving,” prompting an angry response from the driver.
The motorist ordered the man to leave the area before beginning to slowly drive his vehicle to the scene.
“I recorded all this, mate,” he said.
The man refused to leave the spot and repeated that his friend would arrive soon.
“I’m not going anywhere if you don’t leave,” the driver said.
The man still refused to yield as the driver’s patience was quickly running out and he demanded to know where the other car was.
The standoff eventually ended when the man was forced to make way for the driver to use the space.
“You can’t do this right,” the driver said.
Footage of the incident was later uploaded to Facebook, where social media users criticized the man who tried to book the parking space.

“I would just drive into the room as if they weren’t there,” one person wrote.
“Good for the driver for pushing, on principle,” another added.
‘The pedestrian is completely wrong’.
Others chimed in, saying the driver should have found another parking spot.
Some argued that his vehicle could have been damaged later because he took up space.
“He would have done something to the car if he got that spot that wasn’t worth the headache,” one person wrote.
‘Why bother. As soon as you park there, he’ll scratch your car or lower the tires,” another argued.
