She has also directed and written another short film entitled This Magic Moment. Her third short film, Life Boat, premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.

“It’s not something I’m shying away from, but I hope people are more interested in my work as an actress or writer than in who I’m dating or my social life,” Lorraine noted.
She also appeared in two Princess Diaries films with Hathaway.
Lorraine has a younger brother named Ray Nicholson, 32, who is also the son of Jack and Rebecca Broussard.
Additionally, he shares four other children from his past relationships; included Jennifer, 60, with Sandra Knight, Caleb, 53, with Susan Anspach, Honey Hollman, 43, with Winnie Hollman and Tessa Gourin, with Jennine Gourin.

The actress was raised by her mother, former real estate agent Jennine Gourin, who was a young waitress when she allegedly had an affair with Nicholson and became pregnant in 1994.
Nicholson never publicly acknowledged Gourin as his daughter. She has opened up about what she would like to call a “fake baby” after years of being labeled his “illegitimate” child.
“From a young age, my mother told me not to tell anyone that I have a famous father,” she said The everyday beast. “I knew he was powerful and Daddy Warbucks-level rich, so I kind of equated my life with Orphan Annie’s.”
