Fans are left stunned by this one detail in Chandler Powell and Bindi Irwin's video of daughter Grace as she wished her mother a happy birthday

Fans were left stunned on Monday by a tiny detail in a sweet video of Grace Warrior sharing a birthday tribute to her mum Bindi Irwin.

Some viewers couldn’t believe that they could hear an American accent from Grace, two, with Chandler being American and her mother Bindi being Australian-American.

Chandler had shared a video of Grace on Instagram saying happy birthday to her mother while standing next to some kangaroos at Australian Zoo – with some fans commenting underneath the post.

In the clip, Grace appears to have an American accent just like her dad.

‘Grace is so cute xx does she sound more Australian or American?’ one person commented, with the comment getting 14 likes.

With the help of doting dad Chandler, the two-year-old sang Happy Birthday to her mum on Monday.

However in a hilarious twist, Grace actually believed she was wishing a happy birthday to one of Australia Zoo’s many kangaroos.

‘Happy birthday dear kangaroo,’ sang Grace before a laughing Chandler corrected her.

‘We’re singing it to mumma, not kangaroo!’ he told her.

Bindi acknowledged the birthday love in a Monday Instagram post, writing, ‘Today is my birthday, but most importantly it’s another day to love this sweetheart family of mine.’

She continued, ‘If you need me, I’ll likely be reading ”little yellow bee” on repeat. Thank you for the lovely birthday messages.’

It comes after claims Bindi is fearing for her husband’s life after he had a horrific close call with a crocodile in Australia Zoo.

The American-born wakeboarder was running a show in the Crocoseum, which was narrated by his mother-in-law Terri Irwin, when the huge reptile launched at him.

Terri, 59, reportedly could be heard telling Chandler to ‘swim away’ when the huge croc dove under the water to stalk him.

Terrified for her partner’s life, Bindi is reportedly putting her foot down to end the risk-taking.

‘While she would never walk out on her beloved zoo, I expect Bindi will give Terri some kind of ultimatum. She has no choice,’ an insider told New Idea.

‘Chandler has a tendency to turn into a ‘yes person’ around Terri, so she needs her to be on the same page.

‘Bindi won’t have her husband put in situations that could end up in tragedy. They’ve gone through that once – never again.’

The insider went on to say Bindi has become particularly protective of Chandler since giving birth to Grace.

Terri has allegedly been pressuring Chandler into performing ‘Steve Irwin stunts’ which Bindi believes is a ‘disaster waiting to happen’.

It seems the celebrity conservationist wants to avoid her husband following in the footsteps of her father who she tragically lost when she was just eight years old.

Steve, known to millions around the world as ‘the Crocodile Hunter’, died on September 4, 2006, at the age of 44.
