EXCLUSIVE: Lynne Spears seen stepping out in Kentwood for the first time since being accused of selling off Britney’s personal belongings online for profit during estrangement

Lynne Spears has been publicly spotted amid accusations that she sold her superstar daughter Britney’s personal belongings for a profit, despite their years-long estrangement.

Earlier this month, DailyMail.com revealed that the 68-year-old matriarch has continued to cash in on the pop star’s fame and success by offering her clothes and accessories online and at a local consignment shop for the past five years, insiders said.

Lynne broke ground in Kentwood, Louisiana last week, and despite the drama, she seemed in good spirits as she enjoyed some quality time with her five-year-old granddaughter Ivey Watson.

The mum-of-three is seen in exclusive pictures from DailyMail.com giving the toddler a piggyback as she stepped out this week.

The sighting comes as Ivey’s mother and Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn, 32, fly to Australia to take part in the hit British reality TV show ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’

Lynne was also seen stopping by a mechanic and auto parts store, apparently trying to fix a problem under the hood of her car.

She spent a few minutes talking to a mechanic, apparently trying to identify the problem in the parking lot.

Insiders told DailyMail.com earlier this month that Lynne has been selling the “Toxic” singer’s favorite clothes since 2018, including a hat Britney wore to the 2000 Billboard Awards, her Butterfly boots from the 2003 Kid’s Choice Awards and a top worn over her shoes. TRL in 2002.

The belongings were reportedly sold at Connie’s Jewelry and Gifts in Kentwood, Louisiana – owned by the family of Britney’s childhood friend Cortney Brabham – and the online site Poshmark.

The allegations would certainly be a blow to the troubled hitmaker, 41, who claims her family sees her as nothing more than a “cash flow” in her new memoir “The Woman in Me.”

Sources told the outlet that Britney would be “seething” if she learned her personal belongings were being sold.

The grandmother-of-five later took to Instagram to deny the claims after fans accused her of profiting from Britney’s memorabilia.

“I’m not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and diaries, but I would never do that!” Lynne told Britney in her public post.

She continued, “That would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you. They are also special to me because of the years we spent collecting them.’

Lynne made it clear that she can’t reach the troubled pop star and doesn’t seem to have an open line of communication with her, then asked Britney if she could return the items.

She concluded her message: “Of course I still have your things, and I’ll be happy to send them to you if you want. Please let me know and know how much I love you!’

The post featured a carousel of images, including an old diary, a collection of vintage dolls and ornate china.

Last week, DailyMail.com also revealed that Lynne is suing a ‘fake publicist’ and seeking a restraining order after he allegedly infiltrated her close circle to befriend and take advantage of Britney.

The lawsuit, filed in court in Amite, Louisiana, by Lynne and friends Jansen Fitz, 40, and Tatum Solis, 48, claims they met Diamond in 2019 and that he talked his way into their “little social circle’ for the next ‘three years or so’.

The lawsuit states that in July 2023, Diamond began acting “erratically and aggressively” toward them and their young children, and in one instance threatened to call the police “to have him forcibly removed from their family home.”

Since then, they claim Diamond, 41, has published posts on social media that portray them in an “excessively negative light” and are now “fearing for their safety.”

On Monday, Lynne’s trial was postponed after a court heard that Diamond Katz had not hired an attorney until last Friday afternoon.

His attorney, Joseph Manning, explained to Judge Brenda Bedsole Ricks of Tangipahoa that he had not had time to discuss the case with his client and needed an adjournment.

The case moved forward when it emerged that Diamond Katz is facing a separate criminal charge for making alleged terroristic threats in Johnson County, Texas on July 18 of last year.

Britney has made no secret of the fact that she is no longer in touch with her family – specifically her father Jamie Spears, sister Jamie Lynn Spears and her mother Lynne.

A complaint obtained by DailyMail.com accuses him of “stating I’m going to kill you, mother f****r,” causing the alleged victim to fear imminent bodily harm.

The misdemeanor case was filed in February and will be tried on December 5. The victim is not identified in the complaint.

Britney has made no secret of the fact that she is no longer in touch with her family – specifically her father Jamie Spears, sister Jamie Lynn Spears and her mother Lynne.

It comes as Britney’s former home in Kentwood, Louisiana was put on the market last week for $1.2 million.

It has been reported that a door from the family home that reads “Christina sucks” could fetch as much as $30,000 at auction.

In Britney’s best-selling memoir The Woman In Me, she talks about how angry she was when her mother Lynne cashed in on “the darkest times” in her life.

Britney has blasted Lynne for writing her own tell-all book, 2008’s Through the Storm, and said she “traded on” her name after her highly publicized breakdown in 2007.
