Javon Walton, the 17-year-old actor turned boxer, didn’t have the professional debut he had hoped for in his super featherweight fight against Joshua Torres.

Walton, who goes by the ring name “Wanna,” rose to fame playing Ashtray in the HBO series Euphoria.

But he has been boxing since a young age and turned pro on the undercard of a Most Valuable Promotions event in Puerto Rico on Saturday.

However, the fight ended in a majority decision draw after two judges scored the bout 38–38 and the third gave Walton a 39–37 lead.

“He looked very raw, unconvincing I must say, it will be interesting to see how he develops,” one wrote on Twitter.

Another called it: ‘Easily the worst professional fight I’ve ever seen.’

‘Horrible performance from him. He’s only 17 so he’ll get better, but he had no business being on this stage right now,” another account said.

“He is still learning but definitely needs more aggression and more punches,” read another review of the fight.

Others were even more critical, with one person saying: ‘I WANT to put listerine in my eyes after seeing that’ – while another wrote: ‘Stick to acting, brother.’

Speaking of acting, Walton revealed to DailyMail.com that he’s not entirely sure a third season of Euphoria will ever be filmed.

Even if there were a third season, Walton said he would not return to reprise his role as Ashtray.

“I filmed season two of Euphoria when I was 14, turning 15, and on that note… being in the acting world has allowed me to work on my skills and hone them for a really long time. That.

“So when I’m on set, I just dial in and don’t really think about all the extra stuff. I just stay super dialed in on set. I’m working on my character, and I don’t really see it as anything other than making a series.’

Last July, Walton signed with Most Valuable Promotions, the boxing promotion company founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian.

This debut fight was part of an MVP event, with Paul defeating Ryan Bourland in a first round knockout.
