“Dawa Ya Deni Ni Kulipa” The Finland Money Must Be Paid Back To Our Parents; Oscar Sudi Says

In a recent turn of events, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has taken a strong stance against Uasin Gishu County Senator Jackson Mandago, accusing him of being involved in the controversial Finland Scholarships Saga.

Speaking passionately at Megun Ward in his Kapseret constituency, Sudi minced no words as he voiced his concerns about the alleged misuse of funds meant for deserving students.

During his address, Sudi did not hold back in his criticisms of Senator Mandago and his alleged accomplices. He sternly warned them that they would have to reimburse the parents whose money had been misappropriated, regardless of their preferences in the matter.

The Kapseret MP emphasized that Mandago should not use tribal politics as a shield to evade his responsibilities and should instead take steps to return the money.

“The issue of the Finland Scholarships is not something that can be brushed aside lightly. Parents sold their properties and livestock, and now there are individuals who are attempting to benefit from the proceeds without accountability.

The funds were initially misappropriated during nomination processes, and now they are trying to complicate the situation with convoluted arguments. It’s simple: repay the funds,” Sudi declared.

Sudi also criticized Mandago’s alleged threats towards the parents who were demanding their rightful dues. He called on the Senator to take responsibility for his actions and make amends rather than attempting to intimidate those seeking justice.

Sudi went on to stress that repaying debts is a moral obligation and that the funds in question were taken from the pockets of the less privileged.e459d04552e34676925abb6d8085851e?quality=uhq&resize=720

“Dawa ya deni ni kulipa” – the remedy for debt is repayment. Sudi firmly reiterated this principle, highlighting that the funds had been openly misappropriated. He condemned the act of diverting resources meant to uplift the less fortunate and hiding behind tribal politics as an excuse. Sudi, who himself took part in fundraising efforts to support these parents, felt personally betrayed by the alleged misuse of funds.
