Constance Wu gives birth! Actress reveals she has welcomed a son with boyfriend Ryan Kattner – three years after daughter’s birth
Constance Wu has welcomed her second child – a baby boy – with partner Ryan Kattner.
The Hustlers actress, 41, announced the birth of her son in a teaser for Danielle Robay’s PRETTYSMART podcast – noting she dedicated her book to her 2-year-old daughter, and revealed the tome was written before the arrival of her son.
She said: ‘Breaking news. Nobody knew I had a son.’
The star shared a photo of her growing bump back in February captioned: ‘Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon.’
Constance’s partner Ryan is the frontman of the experimental rock band Man Man.

At the premiere of Lyle Lyle Crocodile, Constance talked about what life was like with a two-year-old.
‘I started my TV career doing a family show, which was amazing,’ she told E! News.
‘And I really loved being on that show. And so it’s wonderful to be able to do that again. And now that I have a kid, it’s something I can hopefully share with her.
‘If she could sit still for more than 10 minutes, which is not yet but hopefully someday soon, she’s only 2,’ she added.
The Terminal List star opened up about returning to work after having her daughter in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about her Amazon series The Terminal List.
‘My first day on set was hard. I missed my baby. It was the hardest day to stay at work because it was so emotional, something so many moms go through on their first day back at work.’
She found an ally who understood what she was going through in her co-star Chris Pratt.
‘He has another newborn now, but around the same time back then, Katherine [Schwarzenegger] and I had our babies around the same time.’

‘Talk about someone who really understood what I was going through — Chris was so supportive and kind and caring on set. I’m really fortunate to have had him as my partner.’
And Constance, who released her memoir Making a Scene last fall feels like she’s finally fully herself now that she’s a mom.
‘I actually feel like I’m more myself than I’ve ever been because [motherhood] really makes you enjoy the present moment rather than always hustling to be someone or get somewhere or do something.’
‘You get to enjoy your daughter trying a strawberry for the first time and truly it’s beautiful.’
