Cody Simpson paid a moving tribute to his Olympian girlfriend Emma McKeon on Thursday after she was crowned 2024 Young Australian of the Year.
The Commonwealth Games gold medalist, 27, shared a video on Instagram capturing the moment Emma, 29, was presented with the honor by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
In the footage, Simpson sees Emma rising from her seat to receive the award at the National Arboretum in Canberra.
“Oh, she looks good,” Cody can be heard saying as Emma approaches the stage.
Cody captioned the clip with some heartwarming words.

Emma received the highest honor for her phenomenal sports achievements.

After a career break, McKeon returned to the sport and achieved six podium finishes at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she became the first female swimmer and the second woman in history to win seven medals in a single competition.
She has also broken Commonwealth Games, Olympic and world records.

Last year the couple, who recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, celebrated by purchasing their first home together.
