Cara, who is currently performing in London in Cabaret, previously feared her beloved cats had died in the fire, but later heard they had been rescued.

Much of the roof of Cara’s house was destroyed by the fire, and the kitchen and bedrooms are now fully visible from the air.

Just days after the fire, Cara’s parents revealed the cause of the fire after being contacted ahead of the model’s appearance at The Kit Kat Club.

The pair were asked: ‘Do you know what caused the fire?’ to which her father replied, “electric.” Her mother also added that her daughter was “devastated.”

The actress’ father also said that “something fell on a power line” during “very windy” weather in the area.

When asked how Delevingne was doing, Pandora said again, “I think she’s probably devastated.”

Her mother then explained to the outlet, “She had everything going for her whole life. She built it, she made it. She has everything in her.’

The model initially took to her Instagram page to reveal news of the devastating incident, while also believing her two cats had died in the flames.

‘My heart is broken today. I can not believe it. Life can change in an instant. So cherish what you have,” she wrote in a now-deleted Story post.

However, when Cara discovered her beloved pets had been rescued, she shared an update with her fans: “They’re still alive!! Thank you to the firefighters.”

She later took to her Instagram again to reveal the relieving and positive update that her cats had been rescued.

In addition to uploading another photo of her two pets, Delevingne wrote, “They’re still alive!! Thank you to the firefighters,” followed by a red heart emoji.

The model then shared a separate message of thanks to the firefighters. ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people who came to help…’

Cara was in London at the time of the fire because she was in the middle of a performance in the musical Cabaret.

Firefighters rushed to the scene after a 911 call was made around 3:57 a.m. PST on March 15, according to TMZ.

Cara’s $7 million mansion in Studio City, California was reportedly engulfed by flames that spread to the attic and caused serious damage to the expensive property.

A total of 94 firefighters showed up to battle the blaze, arriving in 13 different engines.

It is believed the fire started in a back room of the property, and footage obtained by DailyMail.com showed entire sections of the roof have now collapsed as a result of the fire.

DailyMail.com previously contacted the model’s representatives for comment.

It is said it took firefighters almost two hours to fully bring the blaze under control, with at least one person injured.

TMZ claims a firefighter fell from a ladder while trying to extinguish the fire and was injured.

One person staying at Cara’s home was also reportedly treated for smoke inhalation.

Delevingne also shared a video taken by another person near her home as fire trucks filled the street to put out the blaze.

Cara previously owned a Hollywood home with her sister Poppy that they bought from actor Jared Leto – and then sold to singer Usher in September 2022 for $3.4 million.

In March last year, Cara revealed she had checked herself into rehab after ‘heartbreaking’ images published by DailyMail.com woke her up.

The model said she reflected on her mental health issues and battle with addiction after worrying about a series of troubled public appearances.

Speaking to Vogue magazine, she confessed that she hadn’t been “ready” to tackle her demons until she found herself in a “bad place.”
