The pair, who have been billed as tennis’ new power couple, first came together in 2020 and have risen through the ranks to become two of the sport’s most prominent stars.

On Thursday, 27-year-old Boulter posted a photo of herself and De Minaur on Instagram, with Boulter smiling at her friend as they looked into each other’s eyes.

She appeared to be wearing a ring on her wedding finger, but the Brit shut down any talk that the pair were engaged.

Their blossoming romance amid the fierce competition both players face on the WTA and ATP Tours has been the talk of tennis for some time, with both becoming famous for their exploits on the court.

The pair have shared countless snaps over the years showing their life away from the tennis court. One of the first came in 2021, where Boulter posted a photo of the couple on the coast celebrating their first anniversary together.

Boulter and De Minaur currently rent a house together in SW19, not far from the hallowed grounds of Wimbledon, and both have enjoyed success in recent years.

World number 30 Boulter is having an excellent season after recently beating Marta Kostyuk to win the WTA500 Cymbiotika San Diego Open.

De Minaur also took silverware this season by beating Casper Ruud to win the ATP500 in Acapulco, after previously being defeated by Jannik Sinner in the final of the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam.

“I haven’t seen any newspapers,” she laughed when asked if she is now in the eyes of the general public and not just tennis fans.

‘But I feel very privileged here. I have a job to do and stay grounded. I have to work as much as possible to stay as ready as ever.

‘I wouldn’t say anything has changed (since being number one). I love having that feeling when the crowd roars and I appreciate it more than anything on this planet, hopefully I can use that.

‘I have a great team, boyfriend and friends around me who are super down to earth and keep me grounded.’

There have been many well-known relationships from the tennis world in the past. Perhaps the most notable of them are Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, who have been married since 2001.

On Thursday, De Minaur and Rinky Hijikata were eliminated from the men’s doubles tournament at the Miami Open, after a 6-3 6-4 defeat to his compatriots Kokkinakis and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Despite this, De Minaur is still in the men’s singles draw and also has a chance of a place in the third round if he beats South Korean player Kwon Soon-woo on Friday.
