Buffalo Bills star Von Miller is ready to suit up for the team’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, head coach Sean McDermott confirmed Friday.

The linebacker reportedly turned himself in to police last week on charges that he put his hands around his pregnant girlfriend’s neck, pushed her and pulled her hair. He is suspected of assaulting a pregnant woman.

But McDermott insisted Miller was “done from a football standpoint” when he spoke to the media two days before the Bills’ game against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

McDermott, however, acknowledged some fans’ reaction to Miller potentially playing Sunday amid the allegations.

“I understand the fans’ concerns 100 percent,” he said. ‘This is not an easy situation. The hardest thing for us is that I’m a football coach, not a researcher, and we only have a limited amount of information at the moment. But we do the best we can with what we have or don’t have in this case.

‘I can promise the people there that we have investigated everything down to the last detail. Sunday night we called again and said, “Everybody, what do we know?” And there were multiple people from different parts of our organization with expertise in this area and this is where we are today.

‘For those people, I can promise you that we will always try to do the right thing, even outside the football field.

“We have to continue to take it one day at a time and see what else comes out.”

a spokesperson for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said TMZ that Miller was booked into the Glenn Heights Police Department in Glenn Heights, Texas around 4:00 PM (CT) on Thursday.

According to documents obtained by several media outlets, police say the incident initially began at Miller’s apartment in the Dallas-Forth Worth neighborhood around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday when he and his girlfriend argued about their travel plans for the coming weekend.

Officials say in their report that the victim alleged the Bills player walked up to her while she was still gathering her belongings before repeatedly pushing and shoving her.

“While the altercation was going on,” officers wrote in the warrant, “Miller’s girlfriend” continued to yell, “Stop, I’m pregnant.”

She further told authorities that Miller eventually pushed her into a chair, then placed a hand on her and applied pressure to her neck “for 3 to 5 seconds before letting go.”

The woman reported the pain to police, but had “no trouble breathing,” according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Miller then allegedly threw his girlfriend’s laptop at the group before stomping on it.

Officials also say in their report that when the woman went to get her personal device, Miller walked up to her and “pulled her hair, ultimately causing her to pull out a piece of hair and fall to the ground.”

According to the arrest warrant, the woman, who claims to be six weeks pregnant, had abrasions on her left hand and bruises on her neck, abdomen and left bicep when authorities arrived on the scene.

However, in a text message obtained by WFAA of Miller’s partner, she downplayed the incident, saying the consequences were “crazy and sad.”

“We’re doing well…things have been blown way out of context. This is actually scandalous.’
