Bruce Lehrmann’s new roommate says he let the former Liberal staffer stay to help out a partner, but now “it’s basically ruined my life” — as the wild partying continues for a third day.

Lehrmann, 28, was forced to leave his $2,000-a-week home on Sydney’s northern beaches last week when his deal with Channel Seven for exclusive interviews in exchange for a year’s accommodation came to an end.

With nowhere to go and more court hearings looming, his mate Paul Farrel had a spare room in North Sydney and decided to help. He apparently did not realize that media photographers would focus on documenting Lehrmann’s nightly parties.

Groups of women have been seen arriving at the three-bedroom, $4.1 million home with a pool every day for the past three days.

Outside the house on Thursday, Mr Farrell, 48, told Daily Mail Australia he was unsure about the situation.

“I rent this house and had a spare room, so I thought I was helping a friend,” he said.

“But it’s actually ruined my life with all those photographers and journalists hanging around.”

When asked if the sweet smell seeping from the house was from fumes, he said, “Yes, probably.”

Mr Farrell later emerged from the house and met a young woman with a face tattoo and fresh vapes in tow.

Earlier, a male friend had arrived with a case of alcohol, there were two trips to the bottle shop and the group accepted a delivery from Taco Bell.

Neighbors were frustrated by the noise on Thursday, claiming Mr Lehrmann’s companions had been ‘shouting’ the lyrics to Tina Turner songs, swearing at all times and talking outside into the early morning hours.

“It’s not loud music, it’s mostly a fuss, with the girls screaming and shouting along with Tina Turner,” said a neighbor.

“They swear all the time, it’s ‘f-this’ and ‘f-that’.”

Another neighbor accused guests of parking on sidewalks and driveways, which they said is “selfish for parents pushing strollers.”

“It’s quite intrusive because they already have a double garage to park in,” they said.

Lehrmann’s week of celebrations began on Tuesday evening when he was spotted in a burgundy blazer, flanked by two glamorous women, outside the house – just moments after a new sentencing date was set in his successful defamation case.

The trio charged through the rain and jumped into the back of an Uber, with one holding a can of alcohol.

The revelry continued on Wednesday when another group of women entered the same property – including a blonde who earlier appeared barefoot with a vape on the balcony of his old home in Balgowlah.

On Wednesday, she wore a black dress with a thigh-high slit and black stiletto heels as she juggled car keys, a phone, a bottle of Hendrick’s gin and a half-drunk bottle of whiskey.

And on Thursday, shortly after noon, yet another crowd shuffled into the house with boxes full of alcohol.

Daily Mail Australia understands that most of the visitors on Thursday were friends of Mr Farrell and that despite the festivities, the property never received a noise complaint.

Mr Lehrmann has been contacted for comment.

In just four days, Federal Court Judge Michael Lee will hand down his judgment in Mr Lehrmann’s defamation case against Network Ten and Lisa Wilkinson.

He launched defamation proceedings following an episode of The Project in February 2021, in which Brittany Higgins made her rape allegations public for the first time in an interview with Wilkinson.

Ms Higgins alleged Lehrmann raped her at Parliament House in March 2019, when they were both staffers working for the Liberal Party.

He was not named on the broadcast, but claimed friends and colleagues were able to identify him as the alleged rapist. He has always maintained his innocence.

The trial took place in December and lasted a month. The verdict is Monday at 10:15 am.
