A nonverbal autistic man has been found safe after a vehicle was stolen in Brooklyn while he was in the backseat on Saturday night, according to police.

The 54-year-old man, identified as Brandon Simeon, was inside of a black 2010 Mercedes Benz M35 while it was left running with the keys in the ignition outside of 782 Union Street in Park Slope, police said.

The black 2010 Mercedes Benz M35 Simeon was inside of when the car was stolen.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the vehicle and sped off with Simeon still in the back of the car, cops said.

Police confirmed that Simeon had been located safely around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

He was found inside of the same car at Mill Street and Clinton in Red Hook — just under two miles from where the vehicle was stolen, police sources said.

No arrests have been made at this time.
