Taarab-influenced songstress Mwanaisha Abdalla alias Nyota Ndogo has cleared the air for those doubting her pregnancy after sharing a photo suggesting she is expectant.
On Friday, the 42-year-old shared her thoughts on Instagram about the latest criticism from those who have taken interest in her age since revealing she was pregnant.
In a video, the artiste said she is still a baby and well-equipped to conceive. She says critics should direct the negative energy to wishing her well and congratulating her.
“Wenye kusema mimi nimzee sifai kuzaa siku yakujifungua njooni musukume nyinyi maana nyie ndio mna nguvu zakusukuma. Kwanza mimi am only 42 bado mchanga sana. Happy birthday to me, oh sorry congratulations to me,” she wrote.
If indeed Nyota Ndogo is expectant, she will be welcoming her first child into the world with her Danish hubby Henning Nielsen.
The two have had a tumultuous marriage since tying the knot in 2016.

However, the lovebirds seem to have resolved their differences and in a recent post, Nyota celebrated her husband’s 60th birthday with a sweet caption that read;
“Happy 60th birthday my husband. Hata ufike miaka mia wewe ni wangu mpaka mwisho. Barafu wa moyo wangu nakupenda ama nitasema vipi kwa Kiswahili.The ice cube of my heart. Enjoy your day.”
Nyota Ndogo complains about ageing
This comes barely months after Nyota Ndogo complained about ageing after stepping out without makeup.
Nyota who often wears makeup was completely unrecognizable and looked older than her actual age.
“Aki binadamu tunakuaga na maswali but ni ngumu kumuuliza MUNGU nakukujibu.lakini mimi najiuliza mbona umri usiende tu bila mwili kunyauka.yani tusizeeke mwili but the wazee kiumbri tu. (Surely human beings we have questions but it is hard to ask God and He answers you. But I ask myself why can’t we just age without our bodies withering) ,” Nyota Ndogo wrote.
