Ariana Grande took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the release of Yes, And? remix with Mariah Carey.
“I can’t believe the words I’m typing,” Grande wrote.
‘Yeah so? Remix with the one and only queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration will be released this Friday.’
The cover art for the remix is a Polaroid image of the two blonde beauties looking into the camera up close.
Ariana wore her hair in her signature ponytail with natural makeup and bold lashes. Mariah smiled slightly as she wore a sheer, shiny black top that showed off her exposed bra.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this dream come true and for pouring your sparkle and magic into my song,” Grande added in a note to Carey.

To promote the remix, the Wicked star changed her Instagram profile photo to a Polaroid image of her eye. Carey did the same with her own eye.
This created a puzzle for fans to solve.
Ariana has been compared to Mariah since the beginning of her career.
Some called Grande the new Mariah Carey because of their shared diva persona and ability to sing in a whistle register.
Mariah’s ex-husband Nick Cannon said he showed his ex-wife a video of Grande singing one of her classic hits, to which she initially responded warmly.
Cannon said in an interview with VladTV that she was turned off by the Grande comparisons.
Then the internet pitted the two against each other, leading the public to believe there was bad blood.
In 2020, Mariah and Ariana collaborated with Jennifer Hudson for the release of the Christmas song Oh Santa.
The song showcased both Carey and Grande’s whistles as the collaboration put an end to the feud rumors.

This year is shaping up to be a big one for the pop star as she prepares to release two major projects.
Grande is counting down the days to the Thanksgiving release of Wicked, in which she plays Glinda the Good Witch alongside co-star Cynthia Erivo.
Ariana has teased her seventh album, Eternal Sunshine, due out on March 8.
