Amy Schumer clarified her “joke” about the way Nicole Kidman was sitting at the 2023 US Open after being accused of cyberbullying.

“Okay so the joke I was making was the ways he was posed didn’t seem like how a human sits,” the “Trainwreck” star wrote in an Instagram post Friday.

“I was not making fun of how she looks. Nicole Kidman is beautiful and one of the most incredible actors of all time.”

In the accompanying caption, Schumer, 42, further elaborated on her point.

“I hope everyone is okay and takes a deep breath including all of the think pieces written on this. You guys good?” she wrote before seemingly becoming sarcastic.

“I hope everyone is okay and takes a deep breath including all of the think pieces written on this. You guys good?” she wrote on Instagram Friday.

“To all of the people who commented on me. I’m so sorry I’m not prettier. Please forgive me,” the “I Feel Pretty” star continued. “I apologize. It wasn’t even a slow news day. North Korea and Russia are getting too close for comfort. There are deadly storms sweeping our world and a man was convicted of rape.”

Schumer then urged everyone to “breathe y’all” before saying she forgives the people who have written “hateful things” on her page because she, too, “likes hot goss[ip].”

The “Aquaman” actress, who wore a pink midi dress to the match, had a stern look on her face as she sat in the stands with one hand under her chin while her other arm was under her elbow.

Many fans accused Schumer of being a “mean girl” and a “cyberbully” to Kidman.

“Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror,” wrote one fan, while another asked, “Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now?”
