Born to Mike and Whitney Marsh in Fort Smith, Arkansas, U.S., Madison is one of two daughters, her sister being Heidi. The Marsh family faced a devastating loss when Whitney Marsh succumbed to pancreatic cancer. Madison was just 17 years old at the time of her mother’s death. This personal tragedy led her to become an activist for pancreatic cancer awareness and prevention. In 2019, she established the Whitney Marsh Foundation in honour of her mother, which aims to raise funds for cancer research.
Born in either 2001 or 2002, Madison is in her mid-20s. She is an alumna of Southside High School, where she graduated in 2019. As a child, she showed an early interest in space exploration, attending space camps and taking flying lessons. She later pursued her academic interests at the United States Air Force Academy in El Paso County, Colorado, earning a degree in astrophysics in 2023. Following her graduation, she assumed the role of a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Marsh later went on to attend the Harvard Kennedy School to pursue a Master of Public Policy.
