Sheila was the beloved wife of the late Ted and a beautiful mother to Lilley and T.J. She was the cherished daughter of Esther and Dan, and her presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy. Sheila’s departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by her family, including her brothers Donal and Vincent, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, and a wide circle of relatives, friends, and colleagues.

Condolences are pouring in for a remarkable Special Needs Assistant who tragically passed away on Tuesday, succumbing to serious injuries sustained in a car accident on Sunday. The incident, a severe single-car collision, occurred at Sarsfield Court in Glanmire, County Cork, around 7:40 pm.
The woman, identified as Sheila Dunne, was in her 50s and hailed from County Limerick, having later married in Glanmire. A devoted mother of two, she was a cherished figure in her community.
Following the accident, Sheila was swiftly transported to Cork University Hospital (CUH) by ambulance, where medical professionals worked tirelessly to save her. Regrettably, despite their efforts, Sheila Dunne was pronounced dead on the evening of February 13.
Sheila Dunne was not just a beloved mother but also a dedicated Special Needs Assistant at Watergrasshill National School. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and worked alongside her.
