Warner Bros Pictures is making waves again as “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” prepares to make its much anticipated streaming debut on Max on Tuesday, February 27. The film, directed by James Wan, promises to transport moviegoers back to the spectacular underwater environment of Atlantis with its superb ensemble and intriguing storyline.

The fearsome combo of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman and Patrick Wilson as his conflicted half-brother and past enemy, Orm, return to reprise their roles. Amber Heard stars as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the ruthless Black Manta, and Nicole Kidman as the fearsome Atlanna. The star-studded cast brings to life an epic tale in which Aquaman faces his toughest struggle yet.

In “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” the stakes are higher than ever when Black Manta, driven by vengeance, releases the mystical Black Trident to wreak devastation on Atlantis and its residents. With the world’s fate hanging in the balance, Aquaman must form an unexpected alliance with his imprisoned brother Orm to face this ancient and deadly entity.

Jason Momoa’s portrayal of Aquaman portrays the character’s dual identities as a king and a father, bringing depth and complexity to the popular superhero. The film was produced by Peter Safran, James Wan, and Rob Cowan, with Galen Vaisman and Walter Hamada acting as executive producers. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick wrote the screenplay, which was based on a narrative by James Wan, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of DC Comics, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” pays respect to the classic characters created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger while forging its path into unknown territory.
