Morgpie gained notoriety for her creative approach to navigating Twitch’s rules, which included the use of censor bars to obscure potentially explicit content during live streams. She was able to censor exposed areas, particularly her breasts while maintaining a fixed angle to prevent accidental flashes by strategically incorporating black rectangular boxes.
Despite her efforts, Twitch quickly suspended Morgpie’s account. The specific reason for the ban, whether or not it is related to the use of censor boxes, is unknown. Her streams, however, clearly pushed the boundaries of Twitch’s guidelines, a trend seen in other streamers such as Firedancer and Jenfoxxx, who faced similar consequences for employing comparable tactics.
Morgpie has yet to state her recent ban. However, earlier this month, she addressed the ongoing situation with Twitch’s Terms of Service, stating that she reads the TOS whenever she incorporates new elements into her streams to avoid being banned. She also suggested that Twitch may be enforcing stricter measures in response to the recent trend of streamers overstepping their bounds.
